Message from Director

More than a century ago, the three sisters fancied going to Moscow
More than a century later, what is the destination we desire?
At this moment, where can we head for?
At this moment, we are in Chekhov’s cast
Some lead an ordinary life
Some have lost their hope for the future
Some have dreams for the future
Some take it without uttering a word

In nostalgia of the good old days
We still need to keep our fists clinched

Live on

Never forget Chekhov mentioned the beauty of human nature: “Everything on a human should be beautiful, be it the face, clothes, soul or thoughts.”

Never forget he also remarked: “Fire cannot destroy the world; bandits cannot either; but the grudge and hate among people will; every little dispute will…”

Never forget.

Never forget the kind and gentle heart
Never forget the dark side of human nature
